No. Fixxr is a platform, not a repair shop. We connect you with independent, verified mechanics who run their own businesses. When you book through Fixxr, your agreement is directly with the mechanic — not with Fixxr.

Our role is to vet every mechanic on the platform, provide the tools to connect you, and ensure quality through customer reviews and ongoing standards monitoring.

No. Fixxr does not charge customers any platform fees, service fees, booking fees, or travel fees. The only cost to you is the quote your chosen mechanic provides for the work. What the mechanic quotes is what you pay — directly to them.

Both. Fixxr has verified mechanics who offer mobile services (they come to your home or office) and mechanics who operate from their own workshops. When you submit a service request, you can indicate your preference and we will match you accordingly.

For mobile services, you will need a suitable space such as a driveway, parking area, or garage — ideally on a flat surface. For more complex repairs that require specialised equipment, a workshop-based mechanic may be recommended.

Mechanics on our platform offer a wide range of repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services — including brakes, belts, hoses, fluids, oil changes, timing belts, lights, sensors, check engine light diagnostics, no-start inspections, leak detection, and much more.
