Competitors Quotes: To be eligible for our Price Match Guarantee, the competitor’s quote must be from an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) repair workshop or an RMI (Retail Motor Industry Organisation) accredited workshop. This ensures that the services compared are of similar quality and standards.
Valid Quotes: Quotes must be valid and not older than 30 days, presented on official letterhead, and include a detailed breakdown of services, labour, and parts to support the total quote amount we are expected to Price Match. Quotes must also clearly indicate the car details, in full, the quote corresponds to.
Service Scope: We will only match quotes for services that Fixxr currently provides. The comparison must be for like-for-like services to ensure fairness and quality assurance. This includes Fixxrs’ ability to source the needed parts for the services requested.
Geographical Coverage: The price match is valid only for quotes sourced from valid competitors within areas where Fixxr operates, ensuring we can maintain our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Written Quotes: Only written and formal quotes or invoices will be considered for price matching. Competitor advertisements or verbal quotes are not acceptable, as they often do not reflect the total cost of service accurately.

Additional Conditions for Price Matching

Inspection: Fixxr reserves the right to, before matching a competitor’s quote, perform an inspection of your vehicle. This ensures our agreement with the competitor’s assessment and guarantees that we do not compromise on the quality of repairs.
Quality of Parts: The choice of parts used for any repair or service must meet Fixxr’s standard of quality. We reserve the right to decline price matching if the competitor’s quote involves parts that do not meet our quality criteria. Specifically, we generally do not price-match parts purchased from scrap yards or refurbished parts suppliers. Each part is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Exclusions: Competitor promotions, competitor coupons, special offers, clearance, liquidation, or similar sales are not eligible for our Price Match Guarantee. Our goal is to ensure transparency and integrity in pricing without hidden costs.
Additional Costs: Our Price Match Guarantee covers the cost of the service itself. Sundry items not directly linked to the quoted service, such as towing, valet services, etc., are not covered under this guarantee.

An example includes services such as taking your car to Tiger Wheel and Tyre for wheel alignment, where the third party is not a Fixxr affiliate.
2. Diagnostic Services: All diagnostic services are excluded from the Price Match Guarantee. This exclusion covers the entire category of diagnostic services, reflecting the specialized nature and variability of these services.
3. Subscription Plans: All subscription plan offerings are excluded from the Price Match Guarantee. This exclusion covers the entire category of subscription plan offerings, reflecting the specialized nature and variability of these services.

Labour-Only Quotes: If the quote you provide includes only labor costs without a clear indication of the cost of parts, we will assume the quote is for labor only. Our Price Match Guarantee will apply solely to the labor portion of your quote. Any other aspects of the service will be priced at standard Fixxr rates without any price matching.
Parts-Only Quotes: If the quote you provide is exclusively for parts, our Price Match Guarantee will apply only to the parts portion of our quote. Any labor and additional fees associated with your quote from Fixxr will be charged at our standard rates.
Brand-Specific Parts Quotes: If the quote you provide is for a different brand of part than what we originally quoted, we will first ensure the brands match before applying our Price Match Guarantee. Matching the brand is crucial and must align with the quality standards of Fixxr. Only after ensuring the brands are compatible will we consider matching the price if our original quote is more expensive.
Specific Service/Issue Requests: If you approach us with a specific issue (e.g., your car is overheating) and have a quote you believe will solve the symptoms, you can still utilize our Price Match Guarantee. However, it’s important to note that while we will match the price for the specified service, our warranty policy will cover only the work performed. Fixxr cannot be held responsible for whether the service resolves the underlying issue of your car.
